About the Trails Near Henderson Creek
There are two ways to access Targhee National Forest near Henderson Creek -- from the wet fork and from the dry fork. Henderson Creek Lodge borders the dry fork and is walking distance to the wet fork. Click here for hiking, mountain biking, ATV, and dirt bike map of the Big Hole Mountains.
Mulitple small trails weave between the wet fork and dry fork providing plenty of variation for walks and running from really short to several miles. You won't find these trails on maps, but we can help you find them during your stay. If you're ready for more adventure, the Henderson Creek trails connect along well mapped trails to Patterson Creek trail, Big Hole Crest trail, and Grove Creek trail and provide endless variations for extended hikes, mountain biking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.
